Leaving the Meeting point in Bogota city
Stop for coffee
Arrive at Chivor town, take a traditional breakfast, Induction about Emeralds and delivery of security materials.
Take a Jeep to the mines.
Walk through the emerald farming sector and meet our local guide, how have 40 years of experience
Entrance to the tunnel see the different areas of the mine, look for vetas and see the different methods of exploitation
Find your own Emerald
Take the road back since the mine to chivor town, stop to have a traditional Lunch and meet one of the locals woman who always have been in a emerald workers family.
Go to a Emerald Workshop and have the opportunity to take sit next to a professional and try to polished your own emerald.
Take the transport to come back to Bogotà
